On Tuesday, July 5, 27 ladies dressed in pink played in a 9 hole tournament for the Susan B. Koman Rally for the Cure.  This organization is dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer and supports many venues to raise money for that goal. Since we had an eclectic group of various golf abilities, free strokes, such as, hand wedge out the sand, free water ball, mulligan and putting ribbons were included.   Many other prize holes were included: 
·         First Place--Pat Peter
·         Second Place--Sunny Regalado
·         Third Place--Vicki Rhinehart
·         Longest Drive-Vicki Rhinehart
·         Closest to the pin-Kathy Belby
·         Longest Putt--Gloria Kahar
·         Closest to the Line-Norma Bottona
·         Lowest Putts--Ruth Minich
·         Most Birdies--Beth Oyster & Jamie Gartlemann
·         Most Pars--Carman Cauter
·         Chip in--Pat Peters
·         Chipping contest after play at putting green--Barbara Altman
·         Most Pink Outfit--Genya Pantuso 

We had a great day and great food thanks to all who brought side dishes and desserts.   Our next Rally for the Cure Tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10 and all are welcome. So bring your husbands and friends and let's have another great day.

Dress Code - Please remember to dress appropriately on the golf course. This means players must wear shirts with sleeves and collars, no tank tops, jeans or other inappropriate clothing.
Water Provided For Sale on the Course
(we don't mean the hazards)
Due to legal and health concerns (not at this course) we can no longer provide open water dispening on the course. Bottled water may be purchased in the clubhouse or from the Cooler located at the 5th Tee.

Note to all players:

Beginners and Rusty Golfers should consider playing during mid-afternoon and evening hours. This will provide the most comfortable atmosphere and pace of play for everyone.
